Soundrown is the initiative of Rishi Agrawal. The purpose of Soundrown is to help people focus, relax and escape by giving them the ability to listen to various ambient sounds. I've taken the opportunity to be part of this amazing adventure by supporting Soundrown as an Creative.
The challenge was creating a strong, recognisable brand that relates to ambient sounds. Furthermore the implementation of this brand through the means of a web experience. This adventure made me interact with several resources that gave me insight for the questions that I had, from viewing feedback of the existing users to conversations with everyday people on the street.
The solution has a close relation to the name Soundrown through a less-is-more focused design. This has been further implemented through out the user experience by reducing the amount of clicks and creating universal indicators by combining icons with text. Several extra features have been added such as the ability to play multiple ambient sounds at the same time, personalising the experience by playing your favourite song, enjoying pre-arranged ambient sound combinations based on your fellow listeners feedback and being notified how long you've been relaxing, focused and ultimately escaped.
